 CardAlpha Consulting is led by its Principal, Rohit Bhatnagar, a seasoned financial services executive and entrepreneur with over 25 years’ experience across consumer banking, payments, and fintech in Europe and Asia.

Throughout his career, Rohit has advised high-growth fintechs, payments businesses, and private equity investors — including Revolut, Wise, WorldRemit, Vivid Money, Mswipe, Bank al Etihad, Pollen Street Capital, and Actera — on strategy, market entry, regulatory licensing, operating models, and commercial partnerships. Previously, he held senior leadership roles at Visa, Mastercard, ICICI Bank, and GE Money, covering consumer lending, cards, and digital banking.

In addition to his advisory work, Rohit brings first-hand experience as an entrepreneur and founder. At CardAlpha, a VC-backed point-of-sale payments business serving UK SMEs, he successfully raised funding from SFC Capital and led the business through product development, market entry, and commercialization. This entrepreneurial experience gives him practical insight into the realities of building, scaling, and operating fintech and payments ventures.

Rohit personally leads all client engagements, combining corporate leadership, entrepreneurial execution, and strategic advisory expertise to help clients navigate growth, regulation, and innovation in digital payments and banking. Where additional specialist input is required, Rohit works with a select network of associates drawn from London’s leading business schools.
