Rohit is experienced retail banker and payments expert with cross functional expertise in building and executing business strategy and product propositions across both High Growth and Mature Markets in Asia and Europe.
Rohit is based at Level 39, Europe’s largest technology accelerator space, where he also mentors fintech start-ups and high growth firms. As an Ambassador of the Emerging Payments Association, UK's premier trade body representing the Payments Industry, Rohit supports the Association and it's members with initiatives related to Merchant Acquiring and Cards
Rohit has more than 20 years of financial services experience across international markets having worked and lived in UK, Hungary, Singapore and India. Previously Rohit worked with MasterCard as their Senior Vice President for Merchant Acceptance Development where he was responsible for building and commercializing a strategy to achieve merchant acquiring goals in international markets. Rohit also spent two years with MasterCard’s Eastern Europe division where he was instrumental in building strategy and partnerships with central acquirers and merchants. Prior to joining MasterCard,
Rohit held several roles with Visa Inc., ICICI Bank and GE-Money where he managed teams across various products and functions including consumer lending, credit & debit cards issuance and digital banking.
